Im contemplating dying my hair a kind of golden blonde. My hair is very dark brown and I was just wondering around how much it would cost?
Also, would it be a hard job to dye my hair this colour?and would it wreck my hair???
I would be grateful for any info anyone has!

How long is a piece of string?

It depends on a lot of factors:
Are you doing it yourself, or getting it done in a salon?
Do you want an all over dye job, or highlights?
If you want highlights, do you want a full head or a half head?
Is your hair long, or short?

The original colour doesn't make a massive difference. It'll just take you longer to get to your desired colour.

Assuming you're going to a salon to get a half head of highlights on hair below shoulder lenght, each visit would cost between about €80 and €160. It's impossible to estimate how much it will cost, accurately. You're best off ringing many different salons and getting estimates from them.

Generally though, you can't just go from dark brown to blonde in one jump. It'll take a couple of sessions to get your desired shade.

Dying your hair at all does damage your hair, of course. You'll need to always use a very good conditioner, and usually one specifically for blonde or coloured hair. You'll need to get regular haircuts too.

Also, be sure that blonde will suit you. I've seen countless brunettes decide that blonde would suit them when they're better suited to being brunette. If you have dark colouring and dark eyes, I'd advise you to stay brunette.

Thanks for all your help. my hair is just past my shoulders and I was thinking about getting a full head of highlights if possible. I have fairly pale skin and blue eyes so hopefully it will suit me.
    Thanks!
