I did something yesterday that at the time sounded like a good idea as i had thought it through. I proceded with the action and now i regret what i did a million times over. I can't understand why i did it and how come i couldn't see it was a bad idea at the time. I basically told this girl to do one and for reasons that i will not share, sorry. I thought i would explain to her my reasons etc, but now she wasn't nothing to do with me and i dont honestly blame her as i deserve it no doubt. I told her my reasons anyway and got reply back which was pretty blunt that she couldn't care less anymore i was an idot for doing what i did. I dont know what do to now, im so F**king pi**sed off at what i did. I dont want to call her as im to weak for argument on the phone. This at the time was ment to make me feel better and i was thinking this time 2moro i would, how wrong i was.

    GGGGGGrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Anyone have any idea's on what i could say to her? I can say it was the most stupid thing i have ever done........ever.

I think the OP should be banned for posting an unhelpful post.

Ok, Basically I like this girl and she knows how I feel etc. We get on great and have kissed and been out together and had a great laugh. The problem is she lives to far away even though it would only take me about 2hrs to get there. She went back and we still talk over the phone and text each other almost ever other day. I know how she felt as she told me and I told her. I suppose you could say that in the end I was getting pi**ed off with everything and I couldn't sleep sometimes and it was getting me down and starting to affect my work ( stupid I know ). So I decided that I would just cut contact altogether as I thought maybe in a few months without talking or that I would forget her as that usually works. I basically sent her a text message and told her that I couldn't be bothered anymore with this. She got mad and sent replied back with two messages. I don’t blame her at all and I deserve it, but been such an idiot. I thought it was a good idea at the time and now it was f**king stupid thing to do. I sent her a mail explaining me reasons for this, but she sent back a message which was very blunt.

I regret my actions deeply and don't know what to do now. I was thinking that maybe tomorrow I might not care as much and by the weekend I wouldn’t be bothered.

Any idea's on what to do

I hate it when my bird tells me to do one. It really wrecks my head. What were you thinking?

He means that he finished with his girlfriend and realises now that it was a mistake - fairly straightforward to me.
Anyway, the reaction you got from the girl seems pretty intense, so I'm guessing it was something fairly awful that you said to her. I've no idea what it might have been, but all I can suggest is that you apologise profusely, explain to her how you truly feel and hope for the best!

I think this is a tad extreme - perhaps you should try to understand the question before you post?

After mod-approving and reading post 5 I think Lynfo is right, although it was not at all straightforward to understand.

I reckon that the OP is feeling sorrow and guilt because of the blunt reply that he received after ditching her. Hence, I think that Jerk2006 should rethink exactly why he sent the message. Don't forget the reasons that made you initially want to break up with her ever. In forgetting such issues you can end up pushing them to the back of your mind only to have them erupt at a later date.

Understand why you wanted to be apart and if you think that you and she can remedy such problems then you should speak with her and be completely honest about your reasoning behind your actions.

Good luck, hopefully you can 'do two' soon.. err. maybe.. unless doing two isn't a good thing? I dunno.

Ok, basically i told this girl i couldn't be bothered anymore ( ie: go and do one ) I've know this girl a while and i really, really like her and she knows how i feel and she told me the same, even if we were both drunk. The problem is she lives over 2hrs away. She went back there a while ago and we've been texting, e-mailing and talking to each other on the phone. I was getting really pi**sed off with everything and i decided i didn't want to do the friends thing anymore. I was having trouble sleeping and it was starting to affect my work as well. I decided that enough was enough and that if i told this girl i couldn't be bothered anymore id forget about in a couple of months if we broke all contact. Anyways she sent back a message and was very angry and rightly so as i would have been myself. I guess i was been selfish in one way. I thought i would send her a mail today in work and explain my reasons which i did. I got another message today basically telling me not to bother anymore.

I can't understand for the life of me why i did what i did. I thougth it was a good idea at the time as it was effecting my everyday life and i can't stop thinking about her every day etc.

Any advice on what to do? maybe just forget it and move and leave it as a harsh lesson learned.

I think you said exactly what i was actually thinking and best advice i've had all day and you made sense which i haven't been able to do all day.

Explain your quote though please Gordon

Yeah I think you should just keep on buggin' her if you think its serious or go to hers and try to talk to her face-to-face. Don't let it lie. Would be terrible to leave once such a great relationship to die with such a stupid incident.

I would send her one message to let her know that you made the mistake, still want to be with her and you will give her some space, she is probably very angry and upset and needs some time to think. If you think that constantly emailing and txting her is going to work, it might make her more annoyed at you.

The thing is what exactly do you want ?
Do you want to go back to being friends or do you want to try and move it on to some sort of relationship ????

If you're serious about wanting to take things further then why not drive down to where she lives some evening and have a face to face chat about things and apologise profusely (bunch of flowers mightn't go amiss either).

Why do you think it was affecting you so much? Was it because you didn't want the inconvenience of a 'distance' relationship with her and it was easier to cut ties? Or are you feeling a bit resentful because she moved away so you lashed out to hurt her back?

If you really like her (and she'd be quite right to think you've got a odd way of showing it!) then make it clear to her you made a mistake. You will probably need to give her a bit of time though. Just be honest and wait it out - hopefully she'll forgive you and you can decide where to go from there.

Apologise and send flowers. Then give her space, followed by a very long luncheon date to talk through the hurt?

It was an attempt at humour - insinuating that 'do one' was ditching her hence 'do two' could be getting her back. I've never heard that expression so I've no idea what do one means/meant. No offence intended.

Gordon that made me laugh today . The term "Do One" is used if some is annoying you etc.

Still haven't heard anything today. I would drive but its a bit further away. I think i might leave it a few days and give your time to think.

Thanks for all the advice. I only wish i didn't ask before i did what i did.

I just thought i would give those of you who replied to my orignal post a update. I contacted her today after having a sleepless couple of nights and after some hard talking and groveling today were ok. I'm heading over to her on Sunday night for a few days so we can sort things out and see what the next step is or where were going from here.

    Thanks again
