    Props to Jack.
As always success is supplied by teams, but failure carried by only one man. Jack's legacy has to be success, 2 munsters, 2 leagues and 2 All Ireland's. But more so than any other county, when the team wins, sure its the footballers they have in Kerry, when they loose - its the manager.

Its unfair and Jack now deserves all the credit he gets and then some, it is a position with a greater expectancy than any other and supporters famously termed 'Fv<I<in animals'.

Was he right to step down ? What next for Kerry? Shemo, Jack, who's next? What will it mean for the defence and who will take over?

Dont think there is a right or wrong answer to whether he should of steped down or not.
If he feels that he has had enough then fair play to him and alot of thanks should go to him, he has been a very decent manager.
It will always be sweeter to go out on top...
He is still young, wouldn't be surprised to see him in the future again, even with Kerry at some stage.

I think Jack O Connor wanted to go out on top but maybe he feared that he would be public enemy number 1 if Kerry didn't deliver next year.

What next for Kerry?A lot of people would expect that Kerry wouldn't be up to winning Sam with Seamus Moynihan and Jack O Connor gone but the strength of the team and the talent on the bench suggests to me that Kerry are not disadvantaged as much as we think.I believe Kerry will take Sam next year but it is too early to say.
