    Hey,

My laptop is currently connected to an NUI network using a proxy server. Downloaded Limewire a few days ago but whenever I try to search it says it cannot connect to the network. Has anyone else had a similar problem/know how to solve it???

    Any help really appreciated...

The computer technicians have most likely blocked access for those applications.

    It's virtually impossible.

And for that small possibility that it will work, there is a large possiblity that you'll get caught. Just buy your music.

Nothing that can be told to you here. Boards.ie has a policy in its computer sections against telling people how to circumvent protections and blocks put in place in networks that they do not control.
