On October 26th we welcome back Magda who first played the club over two years ago to a minimal audience inside the Metropolitan and then she played just two months ago back in August where we had to lock the doors by midnight such has been the rapid increase in her profile. That was a killer night of deep tracks that had the club heaving. This night should be something similar so it's highly recommended to pick up a bargain-priced ticket in Selectah or at www.tickets.ie to ensure you're not kicking your heels on South William Street as the EC dancefloor goes off.

This is Magda's third visit to the club making her the quickest return of an international guest ever. Magda is now recognised worldwide as one of the leading DJs and producers in music today. Born in Poland, this much travelled lady has lived in Texas, Detroit & New York before finally deciding to settle in the current home of techno, Berlin. Her releases and remixes both as a solo artist and as part of Run Stop Restore have become staples in the sets of Hawtin, Villalobos and Vath. Her recent Mix CD on Minus entitled 'She's A Dancing Machine' is a sleek journey through some of the hottest and freshest cuts.She describes the CD in her own words as:

"There is a familiar feeling in music today which I felt during my introduction to electronic music. Through multiple layers of tracks, edits, loops, and effects, this mix compilation is constructed to reflect these old and new sounds and the similarities between them, which make this mix special and personal to me." First up this night will be EC resident, Eddie Brennan - a big fan of the minimal sound and no stranger to incorporating technology into his sets, he will get the place nicely moving for Magda to set things alight.

The first of this weeks minimal double header is nearly upon us. Magda will be back in town this Thursday at EC for an extra long set. The last time this dancing machine played we had to lock the doors, early doors so tickets are advisable and available from Tickets.ie & Selectah Records priced 10 euro.
