hey, i just started doing a nightcourse a couple of weeks ago. when i walked into my first class i saw this girl there, who pretty much blown me away.
we've only had 2 classes and i havent had a chance to chat to her yet and suss out her boyfriend situation or anything.
was just wondering if asking her out would be a good idea, considering if she says no, i'll be stuck in a class with her for the next while?

    Generic stock answer ahoy!

If you do and she says yes, great. If you do and she says no, write it off to experience. If you don't, you only increase the chances of nothing happening.

Just get talking to her. Its pretty easy to invite a few people for coffee after the night class, in a smaller group, with a social rather than educational setting, it will give you a chance to talk to her and get to know her. I wouldnt just go up and squeakily voiced ask her out, but you can ask her if she wants to grab a coffee after class or something open-ended like that.

Night class? why dont you ask her help with some aspect of the class itself. Nice non threatening and breaking the ice.
THen follow the other posters advice once you know more

Right on! Share notes, go on break together, cram for exams, cover for her if she is late or out sick, and get to know her before you ask her out.

Whatever you do make sure you ask her.

You always benefit in some way regardless of whether she says yes or no.

Asking someone out is a confidence booster I find.

Step 1) Remove finger from rear end
    Step 2) Ask her out
    Step 3) Deal with consequences

Does everyone want a "how to guide" for everything these days?

Oh mate, you are in the infatuation stage. Go for her!! You have nothing to loose and when you get to your 20's you will be very sorry having not done anything about who you liked a lot. And if she does like you don't go over the top with the infatuation and end up with a kid, changes your entire feelings on everything :D

Do it, but if she says "no" leave it at that, at least for a goodly length of time.

Go and have a chat with her, homework over coffee or whatever to start with and see what happens. You have nothing to lose.

Wait till break time during the course, and go over and have a chat.Couldnt be simpler. Most people on Night courses dont know their other class mates, from my experience anyways . Best of luck !;)

Surely its only a confindence booster if she says yes?

I wouldnt ask her straight out, you might scare her off a bit.

Seems so Kell...I'm sure there's a "Dating for Dummies" book out there somewhere, they've pretty much covered everything else...haha

If you don't ask, you don't get, simple as that!

Heres one i used in college that worked.

I waited for her to ask a question of the lecturer, then after the class i approached her and asked her to explain it to me over a coffee as i was having difficulty following that bit.

worked a treat, got us talking i asked her out shortly after, had a brief relationship ;)

Hope this helps, its all about finding a way to aproach her without mentioning your carnal intentions, at least at first anyway.

Talk to her. If she has a boyfriend then maybe you can still be friends, easier said than done i know. If she doesnt and the two of you get on, then why not ask her out?

Just see if you get on well first, no point asking her out just because she is pretty....well, that may be wrong:rolleyes:
