No Satellite Signal - Amstrad Drx 400

I got a 2nd hand box off ebay. Set up last night, by just putting it where my Pace box was. But although most channels are received fine, certain channels have the: "No satellite signal..."

I think i read somewhere that the problem might be a tuner problem with Amstrad boxes. Anyone else experienced this? I tried all 4 of the frequencies last night and all seem to have good reception.

Paid €80 for the fecking thing?

Help appreciated as i'll get back to seller if its box's fault. My Pace box works fine by the way.

The drx400 can also have problems with the power supply. http://www.digifixltd.co.uk/pdf/DRX400_PSU_probs.pdf

Duff box probabily if the pace doesn't pixellate on any real channel.

Sounds like a 22kHz fault. Try box on someone elses dish to see if it faulty box or faulty LNB.
