    Hi all,
I'm currently trying to track down a multiregion region unlock for a Powerpoint DVD player, having no luck so far. Just wondering if anyone knows if powerpoint stuff is being sold under any other manufacturer name(s)?

Is it not multi-region from the box? I know most of the older models were, not sure about the current Divx model though.

The other make used for same player may be Futura. Both names are used by Shomar Ltd in Dublin.

Any Luck with finding out where to get codes for these? Trying to get into the engineering menu as some issues with player like subtitles always on etc.

    Thanks

    Snake ;)

If you can find out what chipsets they use, it's possible the menus and stuff will be similar to other players with the same chipset. However, this may only apply to DivX/MPEG4 players - people don't seem to care as much about chipsets of normal DVD video players, so it'll probably be a lot harder to find info on them.
