Anybody watch much German ball? Highlights even?

Seems to be a lot of goals scored from outside 6 yards, and quite a few from edge of the box. Is that the norm?

    18 VFL Bochum 7 1 1 5 6 15 -9 4

    :(

A lot decent players gone there lately but a lot of sides still play 5ish at the back just the sweeper in front of the back 4, cept Bochum 442 all the way, still **** tho.

Watch a match via Rojadirecta usually a couple on and a german tv Highlights package (on right hand side of Roja somfin Goles)

Just mentioned that tonight, saw some highlights of Dortmund and the standard looked good. Actually was in Munich for Oktoberfest recently and caught an 1860 game. Pretty good match, the germans really get involved in the game. Best atmosphere I've seen at a match in ages (apart from the latest Landsdown expedition)

I find that the games have an amazing atmosphere here. Pity Hamburg is not doing so well this season :(

Bremen are flying it at the moment and playing some lovely football. They had a great win at the weekend, 6-0 away to Bochum, and some of the goals were cracking. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XzGeRQUK9f8

They are playing Munich next weekend at home, should be a cracker! I fancy them to win that one!

Better clip of Diego's goal, nice skill

I used to go to Kaiserslautern a bit when I was living near there, and used keep up to date on how they were doing until about 2 years ago. They got relegated last season, and i dont even know where to look for their results anymore.

    Sunshine supporter eh!?

German football (ie: a German club playing another German club) is good to watch because they like to play 'technically' and because many teams are of a similar standard. This is producing a close league this season (ie: not a run-away for Bayern) with hust 3 points separating the top half of the table so far:

    1 Werder Bremen 7 4 1 2 18 9 9 13
    2 Bayern Munich 7 4 1 2 11 7 4 13
    3 Schalke 7 4 1 2 9 7 2 13
    4 Alemania Aachen 7 4 0 3 13 10 3 12
    5 Borussia Monchengladbach 7 4 0 3 9 9 0 12
    6 FC Nurnberg 7 2 5 0 8 4 4 11
    7 Borussia Dortmund 7 3 2 2 10 9 1 11
    8 Stuttgart 7 3 2 2 13 13 0 11
    9 Hertha Berlin 7 2 4 1 12 8 4 10

and also the goals rate is reasonably good:

    16:00 Cottbus 2 - 3 B.Dortmund
    16:00 Nurnberg 1 - 1 Arminia B
    14:30 Bayern Munich 4 - 2 Hertha Berlin
    14:30 B M'gladbach 3 - 1 Wolfsburg
    14:30 Hamburg 1 - 2 Schalke
    14:30 Hanover 96 1 - 1 E.Frankfurt
    14:30 Stuttgart 3 - 0 B Leverkusen
    14:30 Bochum 0 - 6 W Bremen

Werder Bremen looked excellent in their 6-0 win with a guy called Diego, who i must admit never having heard of before, running amok. Scored with a mazy dribble and set up 3 or 4 other goals.
He was with Porto last season. Was built up as the next big thing in Brazil but I don't think he really lived up to it. He still has plenty time though.

Played well vs Barca 2 weeks ago, they crushed my beloved Vfl who were losing by the odd goal till that game.
