Xbox 360 problems

    Hi All,
    Bought a 360 last month and am having a problem with it.
    When I turn on the Xbox first nothing happens, so I have to power it off & turn it on again, then it starts
    The Xbox light is on and I can hear the tractor like noise
    But nothing happens
    After I power it off and start it the second time, then the machine starts normally and the Xbox logo is displayed.
    Has anyone else encountered this? Which is the best course of action, bring it back to HMV?

    Go the official route. Send it back to MS

    Mine occasionally does the same thing when I turn it on it does not seem to display anything on the monitor, but if I switch it off and power it back on again it's fine again.

    Some times this is just down to me not having plugged the cable back from when I had the PC connected to the monitor of course, but not every time. ;)
