    This one is easy

    Chinatown buses, just google it!

They go from the bottom of manhattan island - chinatown area (its on the website), twice and hour (2 different companies) and drop you at south station boston (city center)

cost is 15 bucks and takes about 4hrs

Im sure u could fly as well but i think this is the handiest way!

Get the Amtrak from Penn Station.

I second Amtrak, very comfortable and reasonably priced.

Amtrak for me too - we upgraded & went first class - access to the Acela lounge, free food & drink and super-comfy seats on board

The bus goes from The buddist temple at chinatown to Boston. Its very good value but there is always long queues so arrive early. Its first come, first served!

    Amtrak ftw!

I went NY-Chicago-Portland-San Fran-Los Angeles-New Orleans-NY (all in the space of a month) on them without much of a problem!

The China Town bus is really packed, low price lack of comfort. You can also try the Peter Pan bus, can't remeber where it sfrom. Was $30 a year or two ago when i went. Woun't have to queue as long as the China Town bus

Does the Peter Pan go from the Port Authority? Think it was there.
