    Hey all,

One of the lads here wants a copy of frontpage. I know it came with Office 2000 but it's not with Office 2003. Do you have to buy it separately or what?

It's a bit like publisher, it moves around.
eg: SBE 2000 had publisher 2000 standard had powerpoint a cynical person might suggest that the propietry formats of both apps would be used to ensnare people who then have to buy an extra package on the next office cycle.

This microsoft page says Front page is NOT in 2003

But you could get it in a version of Office Pro XP with Frontpage - I just hate the way they change the mix. Really annoying if you are trying to keep track of upgrades or budget for three years time.

http://www.micromail.ie - rough guide to separate price
Microsoft FrontPage 2003 Student CHEST Licence €61.98 €75.00
    Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003 €220.00 €266.20
    Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003 Upgrade €105.00 €127.05

the OpenOffice licencing roadmap is a lot clearer ;)
