I remember hearing about this years ago but never got around to trying it. Today I did, however it dosen't seem to work on Excel 03.

    EXCEL 97 FLIGHT SIMULATOR INSTRUCTIONS:

    Open a blank worksheet.
    Press F5.
    Type X97:L97 in reference block.
    Click OK.
Hit TAB key once to end up in M97 cell.
Press and hold Ctrl and Shift keys together whilst clicking on Chart Wizard icon (at top with blue, yellow and red bar chart).
You will then be in the flight simulator.
Use the left mouse button to accelerate.
Use the right mouse button to decelerate
Use mouse to go up, down, left and right.
Find the monolith on the landscape to see the programmers' names.
    Hit ESC to exit.

    Doesn't work for me.

Although I finally get that dilbert sketch where the pointly haired boss is on a plane and asks "Can I land this baby in excel" or something like that.

Have a look here as the the XP one near the bottom it is no Easter egg, I foolishly entered "porn" in my search instead of "Help and Support" and now can't get rid of the entry as it stored in some sort of cache of history that I can't clear. Any Ideas???

Several. None useful... for you at least.
Thread moved to Comp/Tech (Less the "ZOMG! EGG!" title change that I was considering).

Yet you name yourself netwizzkid? :)

It sounds like autocomplete is coming on. To disable it go to tools, internet options, and disable autocomplete.
