The God Channel

    Anybody here get the God channel, had a look at it tonight, they were doing a fundraiser as Christain TV channels are wont to do. They had a special, you could become a "Founder Family" by giving a one gift of 1200 or 2400 in a once off payment or 100 or 200 once a month for a year, if you became a founder family they would stick your name up on a wall on a post it and send you out a book. They were putting it across that you were doing great Christian work by sending them two and a half thousand euro. Shocking stuff, I don't know how this is allowed, some people need to be protected from themselves :mad:

    Its awful alright. Exploitation of the spiritually insecure, and all in the name of Christ:( Its reproachful to say the least.

    Speaking as a Christian I'd just like to say that I think The God Channel is awful. I honestly worry that people who find out I am a Christian will see that and think that that is what I follow.
