    a friend of mine put me on to this the other day.

    They do cheap subscriptions for the likes of the economist, time,newsweek, national geographic etc.

    you can get student discount prices on subscriptions & they don't even check if you're a student or not. all you need to do is tell them you're in a college in ireland & they'll believe you.

    never renew the subs , let them lapse and get a new one every time. introductory offers are much better on a per annum basis than renewing subs.
