I have sore elbows a lot of the time after BJJ practice. I dont get caught in armlocks all that often anymore but probably did a lot in the beginning .
Can anyone suggest some joint strengthening exercises with or without weights.

    TIA

By 'sore', do you mean more internally than externally? If it's bruising rather than a 'tennis elbow' feeling, you could just be whacking your elbows off the mat and not noticing it!

Nah its more internal just gets sore for an hour or two after every practice. I ice and take ibuprofen ocassionally but would like to see if there is something i can do

Could be a touch of Tendonitis? Is the pain going from the "point" of your elbow up the forearm, inside or outside? Outside is Tennis Elbow and inside is Golfers Elbow. I've played neither but get flare ups on the inner arm every so often. I strap it and ice, ibuprofen and all that. Just masks the problem, lets it dissipate until next time but I don't think there is a "cure" as such.
Stretch it out, press on the sore ligament to stop it moving and stretch below that point. Easy to do if your shown but sounds odd in text! All you are doing is isolating the inflamed portion and getting range of movement in the rest of the ligament, I think I'm just getting old and will have to live with it?

Tendons get stronger and adapt to stress, but far slower then muscle does. Its a pain alot of wrestlers get and to a certain extent just has to be put up with. It should go after a while (ie months)
