Anyone here have an asus they bought over the counter, especially in New York/US ?
I am looking to get this model, will be in NY for x-mass (:D )and plan to get it.
The Asus website seems to link only to online resellers? Any links to decent PC shops people know of would be appreciated.

Laptopsdirect.ie are good. Good few friends ordered from them no bother, even got vat off. I'm currently waiting on a ASUS A6TC. They look nice, and get good performance for your money.
They had the A8's a few weeks back but think they out of stuck atm.

Nice. Would get it but want the go7700 graphics.

Laptopdirect is an option, but would prefer to buy in states-a lot cheaper, $1500 vs. €1700(german reseller).

Looks like its all net resellers for Asus gear..
