I haerd that I could connect my 360 to my laptop, so that it would be ablr to use my laptops wireless card to access xbox live. I have tryed it by using the enthernet cable and downloading the connect software from Microsoft. The 360 see's my laptop and is able to play music from it, but when I go to the network settings on the 360, it keeps failing the ip test. Why is this, What is wrong, And how can I resolve it?

Go into your wlan properties on your laptop and enable connection sharing. Then turn off your firewall. Should work after that.

The 360 is not detecting my laptop, and the lan connection is coming up with an error saying limited or no access

I would guess that the tcp/ip settings on the computer are set to "Obtain an IP address automatically". You need to give the computer an IP address, so say 192.168.1.3. It should work then.

To do this go into network connections, right click on the lan adapter, properties, then highlight tcp/ip in the box, properties and change it in there.

Ok, I just did this. It still came up Ip Address failed. Also when I do this, I cannot conect to the internet on my laptop wirelessly, I have to delete those settings to do so.
