DIT €5 Re-Buy, Wednesday 18th, 4pm

    1. Who is running the event: DIT Aungier St Poker Soc.
    2. The purpose of the event: cheap poker tournament with playable structure!
    3. Date and Location of event: Wed 18th Oct, DIT Aungier St Ground floor Canteen. 5 mins walk from Stephens Green, 2 mins from the Jackpot Card Room
    4. Registration and Start time of event. Reg: 3.30pm, Cards: 4pm.
    5. Any prerequisites (member of club, society etc): nope...
    6. How can tickets be purchased & is there a maximum number: tickets on the day, no max.
    7. Type of Tournament (Hold'em/Omaha etc Freezeout/Rebuy etc.) NL Holdem, Rebuy for first 4 levels.
    8. Cost of entry and any subsequent rebuys/top-ups etc.: 5 euro rebuy and 5 top up.
    9. Cost of registration: zero reg...
    10. % of entry fee/rebuys/top-up going into Prize fund: all of it, 100%
    11. Any guarenteed prize pool.: no, estimated approx 500 euro.
    12. If applicable, Number of re-buys allowed and over what time frame/blind levels.: unlimted rebuys for first 4 levels.
    13. Starting Chips: 2000
    14. Rebuy and Top-up chip amounts.: rebuy, 2500, top 3000
    15. Blind levels: all levels included
    16. Blind timeframes: 20 mins before break, 15 after.
    17. Places being paid and if any prizes are other than cash (free entry to other tournie, merchandice etc): depending on numbers, final table will be paid.
    18. Are there going to be dealers - and their level of skill. Final Table only...
    19. Will there be a documented list of rules. upon request.
    20. Is there a tournament director. yes, jeff (ditpoker) and anto (aodea)
    21. How are disputes handled - who has final say. TD's.

    There will be a bounty on someone's head, havent decided who yet... or how much!

    Also 50c blind hand of omaha qualifier before anyone interested..
    And a 5c blind hand of omaha feeder to the blind hand of omaha qualifier(for genuine students only)..:D

    I would go but dcu are having freeroll at exactly same thing and can't miss that, to say quality will be bad will be a giant understatement.

    I won't be at this as I'm going to a concert that evening... I don't suppose there'll be one in a fortnight cos of Reading Week, so it'll be a whole month before I play another big DIT MTT... :(

    All that dead money that's there too! :mad:

    hey, there was 6 tables, about 50 players. top 6 paid. pay out was something like

    6th- 25
    5th- 40
    4th- 60
    3rd- 90
    2nd- 130
    1st- 190

    with 2 5 euro bounty's on 2 players as well.

    Was a good tourney, maybe more final table play at the end would be nice, but time is always against us :)

    Was well run and i'll play again next time :)
