    Hi

I've read a lot of people recommending Jersey Gardens over Woodbury Common. What is the best way to get there from Manhattan? Is it far?

    Cheers

You can get the 111 NJ Transit bus from the Port Authority Bus station in Manhattan. Check out www.njtransit.com for timetables and fares.

    Cheers for that

Seems like only 35 minutes - not bad at all

I personally preferred Woodbury Commons. Far better selections of shops I thought. Jersey Gardens was sorta a bit older and nearly reminded me of the Ilac or something.

Main difference is tax. You pay 0% tax on almost everything at Jersey Gardens.

It's quite literally next door to newark airport, the other international airport that serves new york.
30 mins should do it alright, though we actually drove out there in less.
It's a great place to get a new suit for under 70 dollars :)

I've been to Woodbury Common already - thought I might try somewhere else . I had a look through the store listing for Jersey Gardens and while there are a lot of shops I think Woodbury has a better selection (particularly for men) - mind not made up yet

Jersey Gardens has a Filienes (spl?) Basement, which is on the First Floor (ironic!) and it's fantastic for menswear. I got loads of stuff there in January including Ralph Lauren jeans, cords and shirts, Merrell shoes, Hilfiger t-shirts and all sorts of other bits and pieces.

I think it's well worth the trip as it takes half the time to get there from Port Authority, compared to Woodbury Common and the fare is much cheaper too!

Hmm I'm not sure now - I think I'll print off both lists of stores and compare. I have a few weeks to decide anyway

    Cheers for the help
