    This one is 84 eurons and can be made region free. You could check Dunnes or Lidl also, if you get the model number then you can throw it up here and ask for feedback on it.

    Oh probably not, there is probably a firmware disc that allows the feature to be enabled. Sometimes its a series of keys typed in on the remote that unlocks the feature.

    Powercity used to mark some of their dvd players as region free, not sure if they still do that.
    Using videohelp.com, is a good place to find how to unlock most players

    eg. Philips d3020 (can also unlock divx philips d5140 which is few euro more)

    try the one in Lidl tomorrow (monday) its €59 and plays everything.. even has usb port to plug in ext hard drive for divx if you do not want to burn on to dvd.

    Just seen this player, looks very impressive. But it doesnt say it plays multi-region dvd's does it?

    yeah, I'm not sure. I really want it as it is but if it's region free. then it's the deciding factor.

    I honestly doubt its NOT region free, even if it is, I'm sure theres a hack available, and for €60, you cant go wrong for the features it has.
