pre-debs?

well what exactly is this whole pre-debs scenario?do you rent out a hall and a dj cause thats the general idea im getting!?we dont usually have them in our school but it sounds like a good excuse for a night out to me!!anybody have any info in them, it wud be appreciated!!THANKS!

I think the general practice is to book a "21st" or a "Going away" party somewhere for the night.
