broadband in 0502 area?

    Hi

    I posted a few messages in this forum some time ago enquiring about the possibilty of getting broadband outside Portarlington, My parents live there, as far as I know it isn't possible, if it ever will be :)

    I went to eircom's site and they have this "Can you get it?" tool where you can check your number, the area code for Portarlington was previously 0502, it's now 05786, I see neither numbers in this tool so what's the deal? Someone recommended an eircom number previously that you could call and they'd be able to tell you when broadband was possible, I told my folks about it but don't think they ever called it... Anyway anyone know about the situation here :rolleyes:
