Nope, but it will probably be in preparation for the new update that we should get some time in November or December. They did the same thing I think a short while before the last update.

I've not heared any clues yet as to what we might get in the next update though.

It's listed on Playasia as being the 22nd November in Japan here. I couldn't find it on play.com though for the EU release but I think it is supposed to be at the same time, just to steal a bit of the PS3 publicity no doubt.

They must have had someone feck something up during the update yesterday but Live is now supposed to be back online.

Xbox.com is still down at the moment though and no indication on what they might have been updating.

I was so angry last night. The one night of the week when the sister isnt hogging the TV and I couldnt get on to Live.:mad:

anyone get signed into there profile and get to play on live again ?

i'v tried and it won't sign the profiles in and fails the "connect to xbox live " part in the test connection option almost every time

Xbox.com is now back up, almost, you cannot yet login to the site and they have redirected the login page back to the home page.

Tried to logon to Xbox Live last night at around 1 am and was not able to. I did the test and everything passed until it came to tryuing to connect to xbox live and then that failed. I thought this was supposed to be back up.

I'll try again today so hopefully everything will be ok. I just replaced my adsl modem yesterday and reformated my PC so hope that didn't affect anything

I was logged into Live OK last night, although I didn't play any games online.

All I've seen so far as to what they have changed is that there are some new options on xbox.com. You can now change some settings for your gamer profile via the web page and I think they have updated the "last played against" listing, it looks as if its showing more details anyway.

They have just added in the options for buying points via the web page, I presume this is as part of the Zune thing thats coming out.
