I seen an ad for this animated show on a Southpark DVD, and from the ad thought I'd give it a go and bought a copy off of eBay.


The idea behind the show is thats its the worlds first animated reality show. Eight cartoon charachters are brought in to live in a big brother style house, with the expected results. The charachters themselves are very funny ranging from Clara, the racist D*sney princess through Spanky Ham, the addicted to porn internet pig and Captain Hero, the emotionally insecure super hero. Without a doubt, the weirdest (and most disturbing) character is Toots, a parody of Bettie Boop from the 30's.
I'm a fan of pretty much all the cartoon series except beavis and Butthead, and this has to rank as the rudest series I've yet seen. It crosses many lines in a hilarious way by touching on subjects such as incest, mental retardation, necrophilia, self harm and bulemia. The easily offended may not want to watch this one.
Overall, it is very very funny, but some of the scenes are genuinely weird and leave you not knowing quite how to feel. I would recommend it for Adult cartoon fans, as its something new and something different. For me personally, there are quite a few genuine laugh out loud moments.
Be aware though that series one has only 6 episodes. I felt a bit cheated after paying forty bucks for it, but season two has the go ahead so hopefully that will have more episodes in it.
Overall, 8/10 I would recommend it. It sure looks promising for a first season.

I wached the first two episodes and wasnt that impresses to be honest. Do they get any better than this ? (EP 1 - Hot Tub, EP 2 - Claras Dirty Little Secret).

Thought the second episode in particular was really weak. Do they get any better or are they all of around the same standard ?

I agree that the 2nd ep was a pretty weak story, probably the worst of the lot. To be honest though, the type of humour that you seen in the Hot Tub episode is pretty much what you can expect from the rest of them as well. I thought it was funny. F***ed up, but funny.

Ah sure ill have a look at the next few and make my mind up, I did enjoy the whole racism bit in the first episode (the entire lesbian bit was a bit pointless though).

I love that show the way they poke fun at reality tv and all the hidden references to other cartoons, it's just taking the piss big time.

OK - I watched episode 3 "Gay Bash" last night and I was pleasently surprised, thought it was a great episode and a big improvement on the other two. (Loved the Pacman/Mrs. Pacman bit).

First season average. The second/third one, whichever one I catch are really good. I really like it, very original and very much willing to push the line.
