Have a halloween party in a few weeks time with the theme of Anime characters... BUT I don't know a whole lot about anime and I'd like some suggestions as to who I might dress up as...

I'm a girl, longish dark hair, so if you can work around that...

Reki from Haibane Renmei. Took far, far too long to find a decent picture, which is a bit of a travesty really! Here's another with a bit more detail. She's got the advantage of dressing rather normally compared to the vast majority of anime characters, so you're sorted really except for the wings and the halo.

If you dress up as her you would be a Paper Master so carrying around paper would be a good idea

It's in the Roost, but it's only open to NUIM students who are members of Omega / Mikado / Games Soc....

Wish I had more time and money... Ah well, generic school girl it is (Black shirt, red tie, black and red skirt, long black socks, little red shoes [provided I get them tomorrow] and maybe red ribbons in my hair.... and maybe dye my hair a bit)... Will post up a pic before I head off tomorrow!!!

It was great craic! About 2/3 the people dressed up, there were some amazing costumes! Yeah, one guy dressed as the wicked witch of the east... He looked great!!!!
