Last five seasons he's rode only 30 for Stoute with 9 wins, 29 of those rides and all of those wins have come in this season.

Stoute/McEvoy team up again today in an interesting race 2yo maiden in Newmarket at 1.30. 3 of McEvoy's wins for Stoute have been on horses running for the first time.

Dance of Light probably would be favourite if the Godolphin horse Jalil wasn't in this race. Jalil cost them $10,000,000 at Keeneland last year.

Must pop down to the bookies at lunch to watch this one. Might do a small f/c with these two.

well Dance of Light did finish in front of Jalil, but there was 4 other horses in front of them.

Something interesting but maybe nothing... In the Dewhurst today, McEvoy was riding Adagio for Stoute but the horse is owned by Coolmore. Why would Godolphin allow McEvoy to ride for them with the whole Irish vs Sheikhs war? Did I miss something?

Hi Gamblor, If you need additional statistics on that jockey trainer combo, you can post a request here and I'll mine the information for you, such as type of race, distance going, track or whatever. (I've gotten permission from boards before to use that link). Not sure what it will throw up, but off the top of my head he has only been riding for Stoute recently.

Another good winner in the first this year :)

I believe him to be a very good jockey regardless who he rides for. Won on alot of Amanda Perret's horses last year, scored also for John Dunlop today and gets his fair share of Bin Surrer winners also.

My 2nd favourite jockey after Egan.
