    Hi Folks,

Anyone got any tips on how to remove tyres from some rims at put em on another rim?

Ive got some original Ofna wheels that came with the buggy the tyres and well worn and wanted to put the tyres I got from some Pro-Line rims onto the ofna wheels.
    I have specific tyre glue.

    Cheers,
    Nick.

I have heard that if you use Nail polish remover it will soften the super glue.
But it must be the type that has (Acetone) in it I think. ;)
Actually going to try it myself shortly. :D

    Cheers....
Can I borrow some of YOUR Nail Polish Remover then?
I dont happen to have any :D

Let me know Im thinking of takin out a blade this evening and cutting off the tyres.

Is there any nack to glueing on the new ones?
I hear about 4 or 5 drops and let it bead around the edge but does the tyre go on evenly? or do you have to try and hold it in 20 different spots trying to push it in so it dont overhang and down soe it sticks to the wheels all the while trying not to glue meself to the wheel! :)

I will let you know how it goes later.

I normally put 4 spots of glue on each side of the tyre ( front and Back)
make a Cross pattern as such.. Seems to do the job fine for me.. :D

I put the 4 wheels in a plastic sandwich bag and poured in some Nail Polish remover.
Left it for about an hour and it deffo softened them but i still reverted to the hobby knife.. :D
