Which processor would be best ot go for?

    This AMDX2 64bit: AMD

Or this Intel Core Duo: Intel

Just looking to play some of the new games on my new PC, which one is better? I always thought AMD were better but i'm hearing Intel have done great things with the Core Duo processor.

Also, would both/either/neither support Vista - if i decide to upgrade to vista in the future. which one would be better to go for if both would support it?

Intel Core 2 Duo ftw............ Kicks Amd's ass. :p

Note that Amd x2's have seriously dropped in price & major bargains can be had if you choose Amd.

Looks like the boys are right. I thought AMD had lowered their prices to compete on a bang for buck but....
