About weeks ago i decided to start playing online poker properly again after 6 months of pissing about with it..

I deposited 200e into laddies via neteller about 10 days ago.. My plan was to work it up and then finance playing good quality live freezouts in the 200-500 range, (sick of local kilkenny Rebuy Bingo) by hopefully profiting at sit and goes and small stakes cash 25-50 or whatever.

Had a good run and have worked it up to 1800.

Went into shop on Sunday to withdraw 250 to play in Big Slik Poker 200 freezout on sunday.. (easily the best tourney in the south east, and cashed for 1000) They told me that because i desposited 200 via neteller i then have to make all withdrawls using neteller (even the profit)

I only bothered with laddies because of there easly card withdrawal system..

They will not allow shop withdrawels on my account as once netteller has been used there is some securtiy issue:confused::confused: ..

I cant understand this as they sent me a number of cheques last year, so its not like my identity is in question..

Anyway has anyone got any ideas as my money is definatly coming out of laddies sharpish, and i dont need the shop withdrawel system, as getting a fairly prompt cheque will do.. Paddy power is an option but i hate ther 3 day hold money crap...

that sounds like a pile of steaming horse manure

Green Joker, you can withdraw via credit card and takes 2/3 working days

plus they are sticking on satellites for some of the freezeouts you'd like to play!

I play mainly on Boylesports these days and no complaints.

Up to two weeks ago I was using my credit card or laser card to lodge money and withdrawing to either depending on which one I preferred. No problems here as most of the withdrawals were for a couple of hundred. Then I hit a purple patch and wanted to withdraw a large sum (for me anyway) to my laser card as I had paid off the CC. I was told I could only withdraw to CC as this was how I lodged my money. I had an argument with them saying this wasn't the norm and was then told I had the option of withdrawing in any shop :) Happy days, got my cheque the following day.

The game selection mightn't be as big as other sites but I find them ok.

I started playing on boyles by depositing money in the shops and withdrawing via the same way. This was great and then once i got a laser i used that to deposit money. The next time i went to cashout i was told i had to do it via my laser. Now i didnt mind this until i was told i had to verify the card was mine before withdrawing by filling out a big form + send photocopies of my passport + the laser card + a bank statement!! I found this ridiculous as they didnt need any verifacation to take the money just to give it back!! it took about 2 weeks to get sorted and ive never played there since!

OP Id say your stuck and will have to withdraw via netteller. Is this a problem? Ive never used Netteller so excuse my ignorance!!

Laddies have always had a rule that you could only withdraw to the same method as your last lodgement, and to change this lodgement method going forward you have to clear your account and relodge in the new method. Not sure that is very clear. For example if I lodge by laser, I can only withdraw to laser, and this is ongoing until I empty my laddies account, email their card change department and tell them I will lodge from my neteller account going forward. You cannot lodge by credit card and withdraw to laser etc, this is so their site cannot be used for cashing stolen credit cards etc. Theirs in the only site I have noticed this on, and it is a pain, but I am surprised mroe sites dont have the same rules in place.

its to stop people using there shops like cash machines,

ie you withdraw from the party poker account via netteller and deposit into your ladbrokes account via netteller,
then go into the ladbroke shop and ask to take it out in cash.

Its a pain in the hole for them and straining there cash flows in the shops.

I think on Betfair you have to withdraw as much as you originally deposited via the method you used to deposit (if that makes any sense!!!).

E.g. If you deposit €100 first day via your credit card and then you go on a winning streak and build your account up to €600. Then you decide you want to to withdraw €300, you have to withdraw €100 to the credit card first but then after that you can request the other €200 using any method you wish (laser, cheque etc). for any withdrawals after that then you can choose whichever method you want.
