    Hi all
I am getting good reception on BBC UTV & CH4 with rabbit ears here in cavan but RTE TG4 & TV3 is poor, does anyone know the best way I can improve reception for RTE without installing a roof aerial?

    Thanks in advance!

I'm making an assumption you're in Cavan town?

BBC, UTV and Ch4 should come in from Brougher Mountain quite well, though even using a rabbit ears is pushing it slightly. RTÉ will probably come from Carin Hill in Longford.

Best thing would be to, if you can, install two aerials in the attic - a UHF Group A aerial for Brougher Mountain and a UHF Group B for RTÉ, TV3 and TG4. The two aerials would then be fed to a diplexer which would then combine the wanted signals from each aerial into one downlead to the TV.
