    Derry host Drogheda.

    Longford host Shels.

Hopefully we give a marked improvement on Friday night's performance in the RSC. If we're looking to win the league, a win in places like Flancare is the least that should be expected.

Games coming thick and fast for Derry. Shels have no game after tonight until Friday week in Belfield.

    C'mon the Reds!!!! :D

    Derry 1-1 Drogs

    Martyn equalises after a Forde o.g. / O'Brien goal.

Drogs with a goal disallowed :(

Terrible weather in Longford apparently ruining the game, Shels are having a repeat of the cup final in Derry by the sounds of it.

Its all falling into place for Shels to reclaim the title. I just hope to jesus they dont clinch it in Turners Cross on Nov 10th.

Though it strengthens our hopes for UEFA/Setanta qualification (though I suspect we will be in the Setanta next season regardless!).

had the joy of finding out my jacket keeps moisture in and not out!

decent result vs shels for us and we played some decent football :P

    We were sht though.

Delighted with the Drogs win though, and I still think at least one of the other two Drogs/Derry games will be a draw.

I'd fooking love it if we won the league in Turner's Cross.

I have my day booked off to head down, so you can buy me a pint if we do gimmick :D

Nice to see you again Ronan.

Noticed a few papers wrote off Derry for the title this morning.

By my reckoning if they win their games in hand they will be only 1 point behind.

Terrible coverage by the Evening Herald on last night's games. No reporter at either game. And a Dublin club top of the table:o

Too busy writing tripe about the national team I suppose.

If they beat us in the Brandywell in 2 weeks, it will turn it all upside down. Of course, it could go like that beforehand with the fixtures coming thick and fast for Derry now.

Happy to see Drogs get a mental boost with the win (have to play Derry twice, at home now!), ending the false unbeaten at home record they've been spouting (Dublin City won, 3-2 IIRC, in the Brandywell in the first round of fixtures).

No, Derry lost 1-0 to Dub City in Dalyer at start of season.

Speaking of title chasers the mighty Lilywhites from Dundalk are in action tonight and will try and extend their amazing unbeaten record. The North East heroes haven't lost in 4 months/17 games! And this isn't one of those crappy unbeaten runs that are littered with draws, no this run contains 12 victories and only 5 1 pointers.

Pighead fully expects that run to continue tonight against Average athlone and I also expect the legend Phillip Hughes to be on the scoresheet. The Dundalk Juggernaut marches on relentlessly towards the Premier Division.
