    Attackers could also search code for vulnerabilities in password mechanisms, or to search for phrases within software such as "this file contains proprietary," possibly unearthing source code that should never have been posted to the Internet.

    Odds are someone will do it but wouldnt call it the end of the world. Plus odds are youd find the holes with automated black box attacks anyway as the main vectors are always the same old xss and css attacks anyway.

    All this would be solved by developeing to common sense security practices.

    This also makes it a hell of a lot easier to find pirate copies of vBulletin and IP.Board, I suspect Jellsoft and IPS already know about it though.
