I'm varying my play and targeting a chump on the BB ChipLdr. I will raise it 90% of the time but I like a limp every now and again when I think it might be profitable or some maniac is going to get crazy on me.

Right, I know it may seem like a downright stupid/ridiculous call but this villain was crazying up the table with all-in bets left, right and centre, pre and postflop. I saw him make exactly the same play with 73o earlier and move in on a 4 card flush draw that he hit, which came good against someones set.

I was fixing to play a pot with this chap and decided that my hand was good and his bet was air.

Tact, if you want better responses then include the information about the 73o hand in your post.

On the face of it - what I saw was:

You limp UTG with AKo, there are other limpers, then the BB makes a big raise (alarm bells would ring), you call, and on a Q-hi all club flop, he shoves (once again those alarm bells are ringing).
Against an unknown, I fold everytime, as he has AcAx or AcKx or AcQx or QQ or JJ or KK or AA no clubs and has you in very big trouble most of the time.

Include the bit of info that you already included about 73o, and I reraise him preflop and go to the felt on this flop if he calls.
