Well with Justice League Unlimited finished this is our next hope for a quality Super Hero cartoon.

I've just seen the one episode so far and I'm not hugely impressesed with it... the animiation the fight sequences are straight out of Justice League Unlimited... but the stories and characterisations are more like the Teen Titans.

This series deals with The Legion of Super Heroes, a super group based in the 31st century. The Legion were actually featured in tha last season of Justice League, and I'd have much rather have seen the Legion as concieved in that, then what we've been given here.

Brainiac 5 looks cool in the intro, but in the actual show he comes across a bit odd as it sounds like he fancies superman. And I hate how they all call him Brainy.

But the scripting is tight and the characterisation is good and it's overall a very well produced show and I think I'll have to watch a few more episodes before properly making my mind up about it.

I'm looking foward to seeing it, I hope it's more like Justice League Unlimited then Teen Titans, they need to realise that older ppl watch these just as much as kids.

I think you'll be disappointed then.

The episode I saw had Brainiac getting in a huff because Superman was spending too much time with his new girlfriend. They are definitely going for a Teen Titan's vibe with this show... But again... I'll have to watch some other episodes to see if they've at least carried over the brilliant story arcs from Justice League Unlimited.

only watched first ep, and Hated it.
Terrible no-name heroes, terrible no-name villains. and terrible superman. I didnt even understand why they got superman from before he developed his powers properly? just seems silly.

I loved JLU, and liked teen titans. this tho, not even gonna give it a second chance.

i know they didnt want to make more JLU because of the stream of movies comming out involving hte main members, but hopefully they get enough negative feedback to can this series, and do a JLU spin-off with some of those not well known enough for a movie

Has anyone else seen the Brainiac Attacks Superman Animated Movie? It's got some great fight scenes in it... in fact most of the film is Brianiac and Superman knocking the heads off each other... but all the great character development from Justice League has just been thrown out the window. Brianiac is completely one dimensional and Lex Luther is the slap stick comic relief.

Well I just watched the final episode of Legion of Super Heroes.

It's shame that the series has been canceled as it really did come on as a show.... particularly with the second season where they aged all the characters by 3 years and the inclusion of Imperiex as the villain.
