In Tesco now there's a handy little pack of 5 CD-R discs for just a €1, and a handy pack of 4 DVD-R discs also for €1. These are part of their €1 product promotion; they're only available while stocks last.

Yeah, got some of the DVD's though the Tesco I was in only had DVD+R, not that it makes much difference, and good enough price! Didn't spot the CDRs either, must look again for those.

work out at 25cent each. these are slightly more expensive at 33 cent each but price is consistent, perhaps there is cheaper?

I checked the brand, they're the same Tesco brand they sell in larger quantities on a spindle for a higher price (so it looks like they're not specially made for this promotion.) They seem good quality to me, and I've read at least one good report about Tesco CDR/DVDR here or in another forum.
