I agree, this was a brilliant tournament....The lads have a great venue and it was really well run.....There's nothing better than seeing three people killing themselves to give players great service, lol...

Well played Mick, this was my first time to play against you, I think, and I will be much more careful in future, lol.

In terms of Buy in , quality of field and structure, it just doesnt get any better than this tourney.. Well done to neill and all concerned, ill be making sure there is a bigger turnout from kilkenny at the next and subsequent ones...

Cashed in 8 for 1000.. got caught with my pants down stealing a few times, but happy to make the FT, should have been gone earlier 10-4 clubs all in steal:eek:  against 88.. LOL.. with 2 tables left.

Lets make this the premier tournament in the south east..

payout structure was good blind need a little tweaking to get it right, all in all a great tourney. only problem was with the tournament director and his constant nattering into the mike fcuk me he loves that mike :D ffs join a stage group or something man. I have no doubt that you all will know what I mean in a few years time when he is presenting the late late show

Yeah, we had a great weekend taking in the boards game on Sat and this one on Sun. Very well ran and theres isnt much more can be done with the blind levels if its to stay a one day event(with 120 runners, its always gonna turn into an all in fest from 3 tables in).
Great show Neil and staff. We had 5 runners and all on the last 3 tables with ZZR1100 finishing 5th for 2k.A great time had by all.

yeh thinking about the blinds theres not alot the lads could of done and what they could the did in fairness. playing the GJP monthly a couple of months back and with 16 left we only had an adv of 8 BBs so I guess its just a price we pay for a one day event.

Also, with a longer blind structure and 5 kerrymen on the last three tables the game would probably be still running now. at least the title went to the deise but considering the % of the field that we made up its a wonder we didnt take home all the prize fund

ya really fancied you for a good run nic, lots of soft chips to be got and you doubled up early.
I heard your price even shortened until you went a bit mad and committed chip suicide with a pair of sevens.:D

you probably learned that from Mike Caro at the Irish open in fairness. still theres always next time;)

ah sure Richie what can I say even I'm not omnipotent at this poker lark and am prone to the odd hiccup. However as the old adage goes form is temporary and class is permanent.

There was a storey going around carlow about a certain misguided soul whom never held form nor class in this great game we play and actually placing €300bet on himself to win the event:rolleyes: . i will be back, you probably will never get there.

Hmmm... I might have had something to say about that, lol!! :)
With 3 left I had 750k out of 1.25M and my next nearest opponent with 400k all in holding A7 to my KK.... I dunno what more I am supposed to freakin' DO! :p

That cute kerry hoor got 20 yoyo's on me when I was put at 50:1! Knew he'd find some way of exploiting the dubs. Do you know what he said to The Silver Fox after the bookie settled the bet on me with 7 to go "you had 90% of my support before but now you have 100!". So I had to knock him out about 3 hands later... :p

The club and organisation was terrific and I'm writing up a personal report at the moment about all of that. Congrats to the BSP crew for a fun day.

cmon pal you win one tournament in 1895 or whenever it was (so long ago i doubt anyone even remembers) and your clinging to it ever since:p

So your out of form at the moment, or maybe u just had one lucky day, as the old adage goes "the sun shines on every dogs **** once in a while";)
