    Hi all,

Well, it has finally happened... First puncture. Rear tyre. Knew it as soon as I got on the bike this morning. :(

I found the culprit, a nail, right in the middle of the tyre. I think that if I take it out the whole will be minimal. My question is, what is the easiest, cheapest, fastest way of fixing this puncture? I really don't want to change the tyre... They're Bridgestone and only 3 months old... And I'm broke this month. Big time!

    Any help welcome!

You're probably kinda lucky with the location of the puncture - right in the middle is a good place for diy repairs ;)

    How-to

    Good luck with it :)

You could get the puncture fixed in the Bike Tyre Company if it's any where near you.. They're on Ossory Road, off of Strand Road..

Hi guys! Got the puncture fixed!

I don't know the name of the shop but it's on Dorset Street (when you're coming from Drumcondra it is on the left about 50 metres before the left turn onto O'Connell street) and it was open today! The guy just wheeled the bike inside, took the nail out and did what was outlined in the website Wossack posted above. It took him 5 minutes! Cost: €10 EUR. All happy now!

I think I'll get a proper puncture repair kit though. Looks simple enough to fix these punctures!

€10? I'dve given him €5, no more, but maybe less. €10 wudda bin enough for him to give you a flippin' tutorial! :)
