Just have a question about buying a camcorder if anyone can help, not sure where to start.
Looking for something lightweight, beginner friendly, just for holiday/occasional use - nothing too technical. Obviously dont want to spend too much money but dont want to buy trash either.
Is the Silvercrest - available in Lidl from Thursday - any good?

I can highly recommend this , its basic , point and shoot , simple to use and produces a very decent picture ,
You wont get better than this for the price ,

There are a few others on this site which are just as good , whatever you get , stick to the main brands , budget brands do not have the sensor technology and are invarialbly disappointing , no matter how cheap ,

That silvercrest is trash , dont touch it !
