Over the summer i thrown 50 euro in PPP. Started at $2 and $3 stt's always succesful say was building up and then cashin out say took out 600 in 2 months. So started again on 50 playing $5 stt's about a month ago when i got to 150 i played $10 stt's now on 320 euro. Has anyone reccomendations of what level i should be playing at with that bankroll am i playing to high or too low. I dont often multi table so is this a better way to maxamise profits quicker. Also i mainly play stt's cash games im just not used to how to play them is it essential to play cash games to build a big bankroll. Ive played cash tables a few times and always sat their laughin at the calls players make but then when im involved in a hand with them it just seems like they almost always suck out on me . But i propably dont play me proper game because if i lose 2 or 3 buyins it could put a dent in my bankroll. Im currently playing at 50/1 if i play cash games what level do u tink i should play at for my bankroll. Is their an software for PPP that you can reccomend.

Nuts, if you type out your query properly it's much easier to read and therefor far more likely to get a good response.

Your bankroll should generally be 20X whatever level your playing. ie. if your playing $10 STT's then your bankroll should be $200. $50 STT's - $1000 bankroll and so on.

Its the same for cash games. You should have 20X the MAX buy-in. At .5/$1 this is $100 so a bankroll of $2000 is required.

There is loads of software available. You should start with Pokertracker. A google search or a search here on boards will give you loads of info on the software you can get.

Probably 15 buy ins for you since you seem to be a winning player. so $20 STT's should be ok with a $320 Bankroll as long as you stick to your game.

Cant tell you much about cash games, from what ive read the swings can be horrible so i just stick to STT's myself.

Ive came across software just recently (all this is in a recent thread i posted) called poker spy. It keeps track of lots of stats and displays them in a table such as what different opponents have been showing down with, how many flops theyve seen, wheter theyve been raising preflop, if they made bad plays or steals etc etc

Absolutely essential if you dont have the patients to keep track of players around you like me, if they put a big raise a quick look at the chart gives you vital information to consider before calling or folding. They have a free trial (200 hands) and the software costs $70 to buy but there is a better option.

Go to their website, sign up for the free license, deposit $50 at party poker and play 200 rakes hands on the real money table (you also get 20% deposit bonus) then they give you the license key. The 200 hands has to be at a cash game not STT. So it costs you nothing that way instead of $70.

Anyway the website looks cheap but the software is very good and AFAIK the only one that works on PPP STT's.

    website is www.poker-spy.com

i think 20 buyins is very marginal, 5 buyins can easily be lost in a session, never mind a downswing. I prefer to double this to 40 to be perfectly comfortable with your game at the particular level that you are playing.

Is this for cash games or STT's. I havent been playing STT's long enough to say for sure but im sure 20 buyins is more than enough for "a winning player" for STT's. Im pretty sure STT's wouldnt have extreme downswings like cash games and 1 or 2 wins would even this out. Ive often gone 4-5 games without being ITM and im sure therell be times when i go 7,8 or 9 games out of the money, but 15+ surely not!!
