I am looking to put in foundations of shed, and am wondering which is the cheaper - readymix or mixing the concrete yourself!
looking for approx 4 metres of concrete - does anyone know approx price of metre of readymix or tonne of gravel/cement

    any help appreciated

go for the ready mix, it would be madness to attempt to mix 4 metres by
yourself, depending on where you're located your talking about
75-80euro per metre. you would save a bit by mixing it yourself but imho
it just wouldn't be worth it.

would the truck have ready access to the foundations? if not
you're talking about hiring a conveyor at a cost of approx 50 per hour
or else dumping the concrete on plastic and wheeling it to the back of the house using a wheel barrow.

    hope this helps
