Has anyone used this before? I thought it wasn't possible to have windows emulators on non-intel macs.

http://www.iemulator.com/ is supposed to be similar.

Is there anything i should be careful about trying it? Could it mess up my mac?

The difference is that you need an emulator to run Windows on a PowerPC (e.g. non-Intel) Mac.

That means slow performance. There are many choices, one of the most popular being Microsoft's VirtualPC.

On Intel Mac's, on the other hand, you can use virtualisation technology to run Windows on top of Mac OS at near-native speed, a la Parallels.

I used it once for some version of linux. One of the ones that run entirely on the disk. Terribly slow!

Does it do anything bad like slow your computer even when its not running, or can it let viruses into your mac somehow?

I've seen virtual PC, but i'm a real cheapo and i wouldnt really need it for any major jobs that would make it worth €200.

Oh, and how much space would windows take up?

Nope, it doesn't slow down your system when it isn't running. However, it's slower than VirtualPC.

have you set up this Q one before? I started installing windows and has been installing for hours, is this just how slow it is or should it take that long?
