appealing exams

I appealed my supplemental results so I'd be allowed to repeat the year and now have to wait for the senior lecturer's approval. Does anyone have a clue when that generally happens? Lectures start on Monday and I'm kind of in limbo here. Can't register for my subjects, can't register in general as I haven't paid fees, can't do anything until the feckin approval. My tutor is really good but he seems to be in the dark about when I'll found out or when I'll be notified. My timetable and student record have reappeared on the web and I got an email from SIS telling me they're not cancelling my account after all, but that may be cos I emailed them in a panic telling them not to. This is beginning to be a right pain in the arse and I'm not sure who to continue hassling about it!

    *joins you in the boat*

I'm gonna show up to lectures this week, just in case. But get your registration fee paid if you can; if you didn't get in after all, they'll refund it, but if you did get in and you pay late it's an extra €300 or so (iirc).

My student record is still not showing up on the web though, and ISS told me that my email account will expire on the 18th. I'm gonna ring my tutor first thing on Monday and see what's happening.

Yeh I got that email too but I emailed them back saying I'm most likely repeating the year pending the approval of the senior lecturer, and lo and behold my student record reappeared. I've kind of been told if he doesn't approve it twould be a shocker. I paid my registration fee but I'll have to pay 5 or 6 grand as well, most likely in two installments. Can't register till I've paid the first one though! I don't currently exist, it's a pile of poo.

Because it is to do with appeals, the Senior Tutor will be annoying him about it, so I'd assume it'll be sooner rather than later (i.e. sometime next week or the week after). But as for when exactly, I've no idea.

I've always found Bio2 paper 1 in SF science to be a most appealing exam. Oh, I've missed the point of this thread haven't I?

Just a little. But interestingly so. Have to say my most appealing exam is 2S2 maths in second year science. Liked it so much I did it twice. :D
Both times were the best I've ever done in college exams. It's answer 4 out of 6 questions in 3 hours. Second time I did it I stayed in the exam and answered all 6, that's how much fun it was

most appealing exam i've ever done was LC applied maths, i did like 2 - 3 extra questions, was the most fun i've ever had in an exam.(also was a great way to finish off the lc...) . As for college, i'd probally say 4D4, not my highest in college, but it was great to sit in an exam in final year and just be at the end of 3 hours able to write another 6 hours worth of information on the paper, being able to answer every question was cool.[if only all my other exams were like that]

Appealing exams - not to be confused with appaling exams, even though these often lead to appealing exams.

And the next (2 + however many times I end up repeating) years.....

What can I say, I get bored of people not laughing at me (or laughing at me rather than with me, which happens a bit too often), so I just pay 2 hookers to dance for a couple of hours, and then I go home.

you're all ruining my thread. I had a very serious question. boo-urns to you all.

but if I must...the most appealing exam was most definitely JF biology. Them were the days.
