Itv 3 being removed from Chorus digital EPG?

    Just tuned into itv3 this morning and the now and next details just contain a statement saying "ITV3 will cease broadcasting on 12/" I can't see anymore of the date as thats all the banner is capable of showing.
    If you go into the TV guide it just shows the days listings as normal...
    Does anyone know why chorus are removing itv 3 from our already limited number of channels? and does anyone know the date it will cease? I know it says 12/ ...I presume its the 12th of this month.

    TBH, I'm surprised it remained on the Chorus EPG for so long. It was removed from the Sky EPG a number of months back, and it's been gone off the NTL Ireland one for some time aswell. It's probably a step towards standardising the EPGs of chorus and ntl, prior to the branding merger of the two and launch of the UPC brand.

    I hadn't realised it had been removed from the Ntl and Sky epgs aswell...
    Will chorus replace it with a different channel do you think? I would have thought the standardisation of the epgs would have taken place all at once or in blocks of channels....I wouldn't have thought they would do it channel by channel.

    i was able to read the full sentence on the epg last night...it says it will be taken off the epg on the 12th and will be replaced with more4

    On Satellite, though since ITV3 is FTA, you can still get it via "Other Channels", On UPC/NTL/Chorus once it's gone, it's gone.

    On Chorus myself and to be honest, I'd rather have More4 and be able to watch The Daily Show. :)

    Slightly OT, but if the NTL and Chorus listings are being standardised, does that mean that we'll finally get Setanta Sports and therefore be able to watch rubgy on TV again? As well as more Spurs matches ?

    Please tell me that it'll happen......

    Setanta sports is on chorus digital already isnt it (channel 66 I think...not sure because I'm at work and can't check) ?

    isnt playboy on chorus the channel called playboy1 on sky...i think its fta on sky

    there are 2 different types of Playboy channels

    Playboy 1 which is free but crap
    Playboy TV which costs money and is also crap

    2 completely different channels though

    Or German / Spanish TV thats FTA and probabily couldn't get on Sky /Chorus pay channels at all..

    You really have to delete lots of channels on a FTA system after a scan to avoid eye damage or something.

    Ok I know this is off topic but I didn't think it would generate enough discussion so I didnt start a new thread....
    Itv3 is gone and has been replaced with more 4, Now film 4 is also on the chorus epg! I was flicking through the guide last nite when I noticed it. I knew UPC were planning on making the Chorus and NTL epgs the same but I thought they would wait until the network upgrades were complete(as I type I can see the crew working with cables on my street)..
