Not really sure if this is the exact right location for this one.

I brought in a car some time ago from japan through someone I knew from another car orientated website. Car was fine, through when I was paying for the car by a telephone bank transfer there was an overpayment of a few hundred euro. (3625 as opposed to 3265)

The seller had agreed to meet at a place we were both going to but had "forgotten" the money. He advised at one stage the money was sent, was looking into why i didn't receive it etc.

He had always agreed to send it back, have texts and pm's from him about this for a while.

Long story short he's not answering his phone anymore. Give it up as lost, or any suggestions?

    Thanks for reading!

I would say it's lost at this stage. You really should have acted immediately in this case.
