Absolutely not - beautiful car. I love the shape of the rear wings

My mate has a 69 herald which gets an unbelievable amount of attention. Now, I'm happier to be anonymous, but none of my friends had ever seen a fulvia before. the only ones to pay any attention to it are the young fellas looking for a race. Is there any way somebody can find out how many of their particular make and model exist in the country?

Very nice classic - would love to see more pics when you get time. How did you find it? ;)

Is that the one with the rear window that opens or I am thinking of an Alfa?

    Mike.

I had been looking for one since i was 18, but they were always rotten. I was working my way through my must have list. I had owned all the stuff that I promised myself, with only the fulvia left. I had been looking at omicron's website every week for the last 7 or 8 years, then up popped my baby. phone calls were made, pictures were exchanged(wife calls it car porn), deal struck. ferry tickets, road trip that I had waited 2 decades for. big smile on face ever since.

My first car was a Fulvia sport, that had an electrically opening rear window. I think the Alfa Zagatos had the same feature.

my fusebox heats up when the lights are on. It wasn't like lancia to complicate things with electrics.was it the 1.6? You have to be fairly heavy footed to keep up with traffic on the motorways with the 1.3. Not that i'm complaining. the nicer exhaust note appears at around 60mph.

So you didn't buy it for me? What sort of mate are you? You're off the Christmas list.

I make up two lists of work needed. stuff you can do, and stuff you need to pay someone to do. lets just say that there was a long list of stuff you would be paying someone to do on that car. I believe the jeep towing it broke down by osmosis

    Gorgeous car tyney!
Beautiful lines, and an unusual colour. Is it the original colour, resprayed at anytime? Will it be your daily wheels, or something for the weekend perhaps?

    beaut of a car

I love my Alfa Guilias, some day I hope my dream comes true like yours, however I've often been tempted to swap allegiances to teh fulvia, and I agree stick with the 1300 - such a lovely rasp at "ordinary" speeds.... lovely colour too

    happy motoring

Yes I agree with the lads, beautiful colour and the Fulvia has such sweet delicate lines from any angle !

I agree with you GB about the Alfa's too, my fav is the 105 series !!

    Some day !!

There is a Lancia article in "Sport & Classic" for October, shows a nice red HF !

it's a 76, series 3 with a series 2 interior. the series 3 dash was very seventies. plastic wheel and white dials. series 2 much nicer. In danger of becoming a fulvia nerd. Not sure of the daily driver thing, but It will not be locked up over the winter, but I don't trust it fully yet. I don't think it's the original colour, but it is a genuine lancia blue. I got a nice new alfa back box with it. similar dimensions, but a raspier tone i believe. not sure if I'll stick it on. I've clocked 500 miles in a week so far. dogleg first gear is a habit that is hard to get used to. I have some good photos, but will wait until i'm in work to upload them. I installed a modern radio in the glove box and soldered a ribbon cable to the face off it and routed the cable under the dash. the face has a self adhesive magnet on the bottom of it and it sticks to the ash tray. it can be stashed out of the way easily and I didn't knock any holes in the dash to do it. Interesting project so far. Would love to hear from someone who has one on the road.

Mine was a 1.3 series 1. The sport was a bit lighter and more aerodynamic than the coupé, although the gear ratios were also longer.

Interesting colour combination, blue exterior, green carpets and cream seats, I know you mentioned the exterior may not be original, do you know what was ??

Lovely motor all the same although you may want to get your engine mounts looked at as the motor is canted badly over to one side !! ;)

The original carpet is there! It was black, and they all fade to green. The original colour on the log book was blue, but perhaps not THAT blue.
