So the next episode in the US is 5x04 and it'll be on in November, but I saw this on CDWOW today:

    http://www.cdwow.ie/detail_results_2.php?product_code=390564&subcat=region2

It says it's Season 5, 22 episodes. Released 30 October.

It says the final episode on it is "Stewie Kills Lois: Part One", and this indeed is episode 5x22, to air in the US in May '07. (ep list on Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Family_Guy_episodes )

EDIT: Turns out CDWow is entirely wrong. There's 14 episodes on the DVD, and they are the episodes of Season 4 which weren't on the last DVD. CDwow probably just wrote their own description based on the episode list at Wikipedia or somewhere else online.

Iv known for ages that thats been coming out then, but the thing that annoys me is that its not even the end off the 4th season. The film was three episodes of the new season they had made, then they released some as Season 4. The rest of them was supposed to be here as Season 5, but now thats not even happening. Its gonna stretch out into a 6th Season, with another dvd, meaning even more money. they should have left it at 22 episodes for the next box set

From what I have watched of season 5 so far, it is absolutely rubbish. Not even remotely funny. Keep the money in the pockets folks.

I was wondering why there were so few ep's on Season 4 set... thanks for clearing that up. Next time, I'll check Wikipedia before buying! :D
    ...nah, who'm I kidding, I would've bought it anyway...

Does anyone else think the new "season 5" is just outrageous? As in completely off the wall where there is a storyline but that barely even registers in the episode? Some parts ya dont know what to say, ya just look and are then in shock. Which I kinda find funny.

P.S. Which boxset did people buy, the white one with Stewie or the green one with Peter on it? White one for me

How do you see the deleted scenes on the Season 5 DVD's?

When I click on "Special Features" for each episodes, there is just a commentary. Is says there are 40 deleted scenes, are they just included in the episodes?

I agree with Gimmick. I loved the first 4 (??) seasons, but this one is really grasping at straws. A couple of really good jokes in the first 3 episodes, but after that it gets really tiresome. The amount of filler is unreal with dancing and singing and all the sh*t that isnt funny thats just there to take up space. Even Quagmire seems to have taken a new direction which makes him completely unfunny. Ah well, maybe the next one will be better, coz I'm sure I'll end up buying it anyway.
Nowhere near as good as the other ones though.

I think its more outrageous than ever before. The storylines dont matter as much and the filler is greater than ever, although they can be funny for a bit and then just annoy the crap outta ya within seconds. Peter playing for the Patriots anyone? Quagmire does suck now though, what with this whole wife business
