it will actually be within a week

dont see why they havent been doing this all along. so US tv takes breaks mid season. it wouldnt bother me if the same happened here and people would simply get used to it. imagine if say for example the new series of Lost was being shown over here now. lots of happy people

I think 24 might be different to other shows since it starts in January rather then in September.

Long breaks I would find annoying. I rather seeing the show each week. Or in full on DVD.

FOX are showing a double episode on the Sunday and another double on the Monday. So when Sky start they will be still 3 episodes behind,2 if they show a double themselves. So it won't do much Id imgaine. And no one likes ad breaks neither :)

    They have just shown 01:00 - 02:00
They should show 06:00 - 07:00 on 13th of Nov
The DVD will be realised at that stage AFAIK.

 Both shows could be on during prime time no hassle.

I stopped with alias because of the times (and it isn't as good as 24, seemed to be still asking the same questions over and over again).

Stupid to put the final 2 episodes on at 3am if the audience has been watching it at 12am - 1am for the last year or so.

Sky are notorious, the breaks last for a full 5 miniutes and it ruins the continuaty of the show. But i cant wait for jack and cloie (whos hot, in some wierd way.....!) to come back, ill put up with the ad breaks just because of the show.....

I was talking about how in the US they tend to take 2 week breaks between some episodes which really ruins the continuity of these types of shows IMO.

But I cann't watch 24 on Sky One at all, way too many add breaks and way too many adds. At least with RTE Two you only have 2 add breaks which will prob shorten over the next few weeks as it will now start at 12:50 each monday.

With so much crap channels on Sky Digital (ie Audi channel, wine tv etc), I think we need to make a petition to have a 24 channel, with an Elisha hour every night at 10.
    :)

    I'm allowed dream....right?

i argree the 4th adn 5th seasons have been an embrassement compared to the first 2[the 3rd one was good, but not great] but it is still better thyan most of the tripe on thesedays
