    The premise of this joke is that GL would make a LOTR trilogy that was unfaithful to the books because he has already made movies (ie the SW prequels) that are not faithful to the original trilogy.

    The difference here is that SW *IS* GL and SW is whatever GL wants it to be. As such he can't be wrong in this regard.

    This just shows you how up their own arse's some SW fans (and in this case haters) are. They think they know what SW *should* be even better than GL (their creator) does.

    Exactly the only thing funny about it is perhaps the irony that these idiots have basically made a parody of themselves. They are implying GL would change another person's work to fit his own taste when the only people that actually want to do this are these morons.

    I really hate this sort of crap, GL can do whatever he likes with Star Wars. If you don't like it then tough ****, go watch something else. He doesn't owe every Stars Wars fan a film tailored just to them.
