Fifa demo is now on the marketplace

Downloading it now. Ok so it's not the pro evo demo but I know what to expect from pro evo. It's not going to be a proper next gen game, just a touched up ps2 game. Haven't read anything about fifa at all so I could be pleasantly suprised. Who knows?

Ive played a beta version of fifa 07 on the ps2, wasn't bad... once again it just a tiny bit more like PES, but still not as good!

FIFA 07 is completely different on the 360 than it is on the PS2 and Xbox.

Honestly thought the ps2 version was better, this game is BAD! I don't think I can wait any longer for PES 6!

man this demo sucks

the best part of it was when the game was loading taking shots on the keeper. That was a laugh but the demo itself was just poor

I'm a major PES fan and was looking forward to seeing some competition this time around from EA with FIFA07. I downloaded this demo and thought to myself wtf, this is sh!te. There is a bit of originality in taking shots with Ronaldinho during load times but the game itself is just poor fullstop. The graphics are good while playing the game but the animations during replays and jerkiness of the screen is a major turnoff. I played the game twice and haven't gone back to it again. Roll on PES6 is all I can say, another comfortable win for Konami again this year...

I think its great. Ea are finally taking a step in the right direction. Gameplay is vastly improved, The whole ball to foot magnetism is gone and its about time.

As a pro evo fan course im gonna be biased! I have to say though, it is the best version of Fifa ive played in a while, a long time actually, maybe it might be as good as pro evo in about ooh 20 years.....

Where is the demo in Marketplace? I can't see it anywhere :mad:

This happens to me all the time. I thought it was just that the Marketplace for Ireland lags bigtime, e.g. when Major Nelson indicates that something is available "in all regions" it's rarely there, but maybe it's my console? I didn't think that would make a difference, that it should be the same for everyone.

Are you all set up as UK or something?

You should be able to see it on the main blade on the 360 screen. Click on it and then go into games

It wasn't there last night. I checked everywhere, all the options available in Marketplace. I'll check again later this afternoon, but I'm not hopeful

I wonder is it something to do with having Family Settings turned on for other users on the 360? My account should have full access, but maybe there's something up?

It could be that which doesn't allow you to see certain things on the marketplace.

Yep, Family Settings was causing the problem. Turned it off and lo and behold, loads of stuff that I wasn't seeing! I wonder if this is something Microsoft knows about? I must get on to them and see, cos I want to have the Family Settings on, but I still want to see what's in Marketplace when I'm logged in.

Anyway, didn't get to play the demo yet, but looking forward to checking it out.
